Songwriter & Storyteller from Southwest Virginia
Despite growing up in a household alive with music, Warren never learned how to play an instrument until the age of 50, when she first picked up a guitar. That's when her own music began pouring out. Her lyrics paint portraits of ordinary life. Simple melodies move them along so that listeners see a story unfold. A native of Delaware, Warren has called Southwest Virginia home for most of her adult life. No stranger to writing, Warren has authored a children's book, created original songs while teaching in early education, and contributed to professional journals. In 2019, she recorded and released her first single, “Dance with Me.”
